Megan and Charles E-Session

I had such a great time in Stillwater on Friday with Megan and Charles--what an awesome couple!

One of the perks of my job is that I get to meet lots of really fantastic people, and I get to hear about their stories, how they met, and their hopes for the future. I really love what I do and every so often I get to work with people who are such an encouragement to me in their desire to love and serve other people. Megan and Charles are those kind of people.

I am so excited to photograph your wedding this summer guys!

Our "Afterwards" Sessions are a great opportunity to relax and have some fun while documenting your marriage and love for each other.

Designed for fun and low stress, these sessions happen days, weeks, or even months after your wedding so that there are no time-restrictions on our creativity. Like our engagement sessions, they are planned around your personalities and ideas so that each session is as unique as your love.

The Cates

Monday was amazing, I got to hang out with some awesome photographer friends, talk business and gear without boring anyone, be goofy, and then work on some super-fun session with a fabulous local band called The Cates http://www.myspace.com/thecatesmusic

Family Time

Families like this one make my job look easy! Just look how cute they are together!!

We had a fun time on Grand and Summit Avenues, and then headed over to Como Park and played by the lake.

These guys did a great job--I can't wait to show you more pictures--they came out so vibrant... I just love the colors!

Shecky's

Yesterday was a crazy double-header with two events booked back to back. All said and done, I was on the run for about 19 hours straight!

I started the day working with over 400 grade-school aged kids from Saint Paul. Can I just say, I love that age--especially the K through 3rd graders... they are so cute and so much fun. I ended the day at The Depot in Minneapolis as a contracted photographer for "Shecky's Girls Night Out" This was a fun event sponsored in part by KS95. They had some awesome vendors there with really beautiful products.

We've been published!

Well sort of... It's only an online article, but since we were not expecting it, it was a fun surprise.
Love in October is a great local band that we had the pleasure to work with last year. The guys were a lot of fun--and had some awesome ideas, including using the couch on First Ave!
While my name is listed under the image, I'm actually 98% sure that this is one of Jonathan's shots. He has a great eye, and I'm always excited when he can join me on a shoot!

Braving the cold

It was a cold April morning when I met Tahran and Jason for their photo session yesterday. They met at Northwestern College, and so we thought it would be a perfect spot for their engagement pictures.

Tahran and I go back a few years to our Starbucks days (good times!), but this was my first time meeting Jason and I was so glad I did--they are so cute together!!
We had hoped to make it into the chapel, but it was closed for Good Friday, so we shot a few inside and then braved the wind and the cold to get some great outside shots!

I have more super-cute pictures hiding on my computer waiting to be edited--but here's a teaser--I've saved the ones by the stream for later, but I'm totally loving those too! I can't wait to show you!
